Little Ruby™ is the perfect mounding ground cover with a compact, spreading habit. It has stunning deep burgundy foliage that makes it a stand out plant. It is a third the size of common Alternanthera dentata. Dimensions: Approximately 30-40cm tall x 60-90 cm wide. Uses: Ground cover, border plant, containers.

Cultural Notes: Best planted in full sun to part shade. Little Ruby™ loves humidity. In cold climates, plant in a sheltered position to protect from frost. Keep moist in dry weather. For best results in light to moderately frost affected areas, prune and use a good slow release fertiliser at the following time of year: For VIC, SA, WA and Southern NSW - Prune early March For Sydney and Central NSW - Prune late March For Northern NSW, QLD and NT - Prune Early April Pruning and fertilising at this time will help Little Ruby™ Alternanthera perform better over winter and look it's best in spring.
