Description:
An attractive native Australian ginger from the rain forests of the East Coast, just north of Sydney to the tropical north tip of the Cape York peninsula. It has a lovely lush foliage of long green leaves with red undersides and produces fragrant white flowers and blue berries. Both berries and roots can be eaten and have a mild ginger flavour. Great for mass plantings under trees in a shaded position or can be used as an indoor plant.
