Description:
Very finely dissected small leaved weeping maple with leaves nearly half the size of the usual forms. Leaves emerge in spring as a mix of pink, red and green which then become a solid green in summer. In autumn, foliage turns orange/red. Requires a sheltered position. Often grafted onto standard understocks. Foliage then mounds on the top and cascades down. Great to use a feature tree, in a pot or in Japanese themed gardens.
