Green Wave is a select dwarf form of Acacia howittii which is naturally found in the Southern Gippsland hills between Yarram and the Tarra Valley in Victoria. This beautiful pendulous dense small hardy shrub has a very striking habit. Pale yellow flowers attract nectar feeding fauna in spring. Green Wave is an excellent compact, low growing shrub suitable for areas where good visibility is necessary. The pendulous habit of this plant makes it a useful foreground plant in low level plantings. This plant is very adapted to clay cuts where plantings will help to retain soil on the slope.
