Description:
Knows as the King of Bromeliads largely due to its size. Incredible large deep green leaves have unusual, hieroglyph-like black transverse bands. These form a rosette up to 1.5m n diameter. Used predominately as an indoor plant, this will eventually flower and as with all bromeliads, will die and be replaced by offset pups to replace the mother plant.
