Description:
Vigorous deciduous, dense bush with upright stems growing up to 2m. Bright green foliage turns scarlet in autumn and has clusters of pendulous pale pink flowers. Climax requires very little winter chilling and will produce fruit in subtropical, tropical and mildly temperate regions. They are ideal for growing in the coastal regions of NSW, SA and QLD. Climax is early season ripening with large sweet fruit, often has a second crop later in the season. Can be self-fertile but will perform better when pollinated by another variety. An attractive plant with true ornamental value. Its taller dimensions makes this a good choice for in-ground planting. Grows approx 1-2m tall.
