Description:
From Mexico, this evergreen shrub is at it's most popular at Christmas time with its long lasting and colourful bright bracts. Colours range from cream, shades of pink and orange to the traditional red. Grows well outside in the tropics but usually used as an indoor plant in the cooler regions. Perfect for use as a vibrant, potted display inside to add a bold splash of colour or in a sheltered, frost-free courtyard.

Cultural Notes: Poinsettias are easy to grow. They require a well lit and warm position inside away from drafts and fireplaces. Trim to shape and apply a general purpose, slow release fertiliser.
