Description:
Attractive tropical herbaceous perennial with large green leaves and an upright clumping habit. Beautiful white flower spikes appear during Summer. The rhizomes are also known as turmeric and are edible, the can be harvested 10 months after planting. Turmeric is used as a spice in indian cuisines or used in drinks for its health benefits.Great for tropical themed gardens. Edible Ginger root is great to use for Asian cuisines, deserts and beverages.
