Bougainvillea glabra Penelope

Bougainvillea is an exotic evergreen perennial climber and shrub with a climbing, twining, spreading habit. It produces purple flowers, with colourful bracts surrounding the small true flowers. The foliage is evergreen, maintaining coverage year-round. Commonly used for covering fences, trellises, and walls, it can also be trained as a shrub in garden beds. Suitable for tropical landscapes and areas requiring dense climbing cover. Grows to approx. 4–10m H x 2–4m W.
