Azureocereus hertlingianus is a native evergreen perennial cactus, shrub and tree with an upright, shrub-like habit. It produces white flowers along tall vertical stems. The evergreen form provides year-round structure within arid and low-water landscape settings. It is suited to use as a feature planting in large gardens and open landscape areas where vertical form is required. Its upright growth habit also allows it to be incorporated into mixed succulent and cactus plantings. The tall growth form can be used to create height and contrast within dry landscape designs. Grows to approx. 4-10m H x 2-4m W.
