Michaelmas daisy is an exotic deciduous perennial with a compact, clumping habit. It produces purple flowers with yellow centres. The foliage dies back in winter and re-emerges in spring. Commonly used in mixed garden beds, borders and cottage-style plantings, it provides seasonal colour in temperate landscapes. Suitable for mass planting or as an accent in perennial displays. Grows to approx. 1m H x 0.6m W.
