Plantmark, a leading national network of wholesale nurseries for over 30 years is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to work with our Sydney NSW team to seek and appraise new opportunities, broaden the client base and build our business.
This is a field-based role focusing on the business development of key clientele from diverse associated industries and organisations sourcing horticultural products. Industries that include Building & Construction, Local Governments, Commercial and Residential Land Developers and Contract Services in both metropolitan and regional areas around Sydney.
Reporting to the State Manager, the role also encompasses the growth and retention of existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to key customers and continually improving relationships.
The successful applicant will be reliable, self-motivated with solid sales skills and will ideally bring current contacts within the associated industries and exhibit proven experience in approaching clientele. Knowledge and involvement dealing with substantial developers and service contactors would be advantageous.
Effective organisation, self-discipline and time management is required along with the ability to negotiate and work closely with customers, suppliers and sales staff.
This position is Full Time Monday to Friday with an immediate start for the right candidate.
