Having grown consistently over the past 30 years and currently employing 125 staff, Plantmark have over 30,000 plants in stock and 17 acres of production nurseries across eight locations in Victoria, NSW and Queensland.  Proving to be resilient during COVID restrictions, Plantmark is well positioned for further expansion. 


With the aim of becoming Australia’s No 1 Plant Supplier to the property and urban development industry, Plantmark have identified significant growth potential for their commercial business with both existing and new clients, leading to the development of a new National vertical channel for the business.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Projects & Tenders Manager position has been created to drive and manage this growth.  Working from the Wantirna site offices, the initial focus will be on Melbourne based projects, further developing into Qld. and NSW.


  • This position provides an outstanding opportunity with unlimited scope for a proactive, tenacious individual with solid business development & account management experience to:
  • Utilise min. 7 years experience and demonstrated success securing contracts for product supply to large scale development projects across private, public and Government sector
  • Increase existing conversion rates of quoted/tendered work to confirmed orders/contracts
  • Bring your current B2B industry connections and develop relationships with key potential stakeholders enabling the opportunity to estimate, bid and tender for project work
  • Draw on your knowledge of tender portals, industry engagement strategies and trade network functions to source and map new projects providing a pipeline of future opportunities
  • Provide the expertise and know how to lead the development of winning bid, quote and proposal documents inclusive of important value add strategies
  • Oversee the full cycle of tender submission, contract award and project delivery management
  • Ensure risk is managed during the bid development process and project delivery

Horticultural product experience is not essential, as we believe proven business development skills are transferable across product within industry. Our staff are subject matter experts and will be available to assist. Remuneration package includes 12.5% superannuation and a generous car allowance.
